In aviation meteorology, CAVOK stands for "Ceillings And Visibility OK". It’s used to signal clear skies, no major weather disturbances in the area, and good visibility - ideal flying conditions with no looming storms on the horizon.

At CAVOK Advisory, we’ve adopted this term as both our name and guiding philosophy.

Meet the Founder
Our founder, Daniel Hvam Poulsen, brings over a decade of experience in Big4 in international tax and transfer pricing, having advised multinational groups across compliance, dispute resolution, post-merger integration, business model design, and global expansion. His work combines deep technical expertise with a practical, business-oriented mindset.
From complex global compliance projects to driving tech-enabled transformation and strategic advisory, his focus has consistently been on delivering quality, value, and solutions that work in practice - not just in theory.
Educated at Aarhus University and the London School of Economics he brings a strong economic foundation, technical insight, and hands-on execution to every engagement. Before founding CAVOK Advisory, he went from student assistant to director in Big4 in Denmark.
